At Oddventures, adventure and safety go hand in hand. From our Bronze day programmes to our multi-day Gold Residential experiences, every journey is supported by a strong safety framework aligned with South African legislation, including the Occupational Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993.
We partner with DDi Group, accredited OHS specialists registered with the QCTO, Department of Labour and SAIOSH, to ensure our safety standards are both professional and adventure-specific. Their expertise allows us to develop site-specific Emergency Response Plans, HIRA assessments, facilitator training, and structured participant safety briefings.
Every facilitator is trained and first-aid certified, and every programme is carefully planned for the environment in which it takes place.
